Ashlea Langevin
Ms. Langevin is a freelance writer and currently works for the federal government as a Program Assistant in Ottawa, Ontario. She completed her Honours Journalism degree from Carleton University and is working towards becoming a published author with a book of her poetry.
Ms. Langevin is interested in a variety of topics, and enjoys writing on what she knows. Her favourite subjects include wedding planning, pregnancy and birth, parenting, human interest and entertainment. In her spare time, she enjoys watching House, writing, and spending time with her husband Eric, their son Tristan and their cat Tigger and dog Elmo.
Awards:
Ms. Langevin was the 3rd place recipient of the Fraser MacDougall Journalism Prize for her article on the Canadian government and the Access to Information and Privacy Act.
Ms. Langevin was an award winner with the National Library of Poetry, and was published in their anthology Sands of Time.
